Bio

Daniela Marx is a Full Professor of Graphic Design at Loyola University New Orleans and Chair of the city’s only bachelor’s program in the field. Guided by Loyola’s Jesuit mission of social justice, she shapes design education with a community focus.

In addition to teaching, she freelances on projects that often benefit the New Orleans community, collaborating with local creatives. A sabbatical at the American University of Sharjah in the UAE deepened her global perspective on design and education. She has called New Orleans home since 2001.
